Women in Soccer Sports Exchange Program

YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM WITH SOUTHEAST ASIA (SEAYLP)

The program will employ a highly interactive approach both in workshops and in a range of public and community settings. Through engagement with the activities of U.S. high schools, community organizations, youth groups, and community leaders in each location, the student and adult participants will better understand civic participation and the rights and responsibilities of citizens in a democracy.

Religion and Society: a Dialogue (RSD)
is a two-year, two-way exchange between religious scholars, clerics, and community leaders of Indonesia and the United States, and this program funded by The US Department of State. Twelve Indonesians and five Americans will travel each year, visiting four distinct regions in each other's countries, where prestigious institutions will host them. This exchange will provide participating professionals with an opportunity to increase their knowledge of the counterpart country; to establish a dialogue about the scholarship and practice of religion (particularly Islam) in both countries; and to examine the compatibility of religious practice with democratic social and political values.

LINC: Linking Individuals, Knowledge, and Cultures
Indonesian-American Exchange Program
LINC is a two-way exchange program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, created specifically so that Indonesian and American teens could meet and learn more about each other, one another’s nations and cultures LINC will promote mutual understanding between the people of Indonesia and the United States.

Program for School Administrator and Community Leader (CLP)
Heartland International, in partnership with the Center for Civic Education/Indonesia, will implement a three-week educational training program focusing on strengthening private and community-based secondary education in Indonesia. Funded by the U.S. Embassy, this program will complement other Embassy initiatives designed to improve the quality of teaching and learning in primary and junior secondary public and private schools, and promote greater community involvement.

Indonesia Youth Leadership Program (IYLP)
IYLP gives over 17 students and 3 teachers from all across Indonesia a chance to spend a month in America, share their Indonesian culture, and to study leadership and civic education. Students are selected from provinces across Indonesia and reflect the diversity that is Indonesia in their ethnic backgrounds, races and religions.
